This box can be decorated with photographs, rubber stamping, paints or your favourite papers and is the perfect keepsake to show off your artistic skills.

Remove the lid - the sides of the box open outwards like petals, exposing layer upon layer of fabulous artwork, to expose … what?  What would you hide inside your box? A little gift, a fabric flower, a miniature book?

• Create the perfect backgrounds with the DTP (direct-to-paper) technique using pigment inks

• Create patterns reminiscent of Moorish or Spanish Baroque tiles using the Colourbox Stylus Tools

• Add glimmer and shine with Radiant Mists

• Emboss the perfect accent

• Add detail and excitement with matting & layering

• Flatter your photographs or photoartstamps with German Scrap, photocorners and more

• Tie with extravagant bows using Organza ribbon

• Add a handmade gift tag for the perfect finishing touch (if you can make yourself give it away)

This box is easier to make than you would think, even if you have never made one before.

As always, you will be given a comprehensive set of illustrated notes to take home with you.

Materials: Please bring a craft knife, metal-edged ruler, bone folder & pencil. I will be providing plenty of collage materials, but please feel free to bring any special photos or ephemera you may want to use in your finished piece.
